for all the guys who use support as their main class, what are some of the best tips kill wise and teamwork wise that you can think of for someone new to support? i just unlocked the PKM, but i would like some tips to go along. thanks for the help.

stop, drop and spray.

the pkm and rpk are great anti helicopter, while they do kill cqc infantry quickly, they arent as effective as the saw/mg36 that can be ramboed or used up to mid range.

Only to the stupid pilots. They do very little damage to choppers, which is kind of odd seeing how you'd think they would do more. To some pilots out there yes, but if you start doing that to me I am just going to laugh and try to land on you or something lol. Seriously, I can't remember the numbers but even for the pkm, I believe it takes over 200 rounds of ammo to destroy a chopper.

The good thing though is, most pilots are stupid. I still see people that land to get repairs and take points...just one of the worst things you can do in a chopper

I would think that in an open black hawk, only one burst from a normal rifle would be pretty dangerous. Back in WO2 they always sat on their helmets to protect your private parts HAHA

PKM is trash, and its effectiveness against vehicles is completely mythical. IF you need a handheld anti-helicopter weapon, use the AT rocket or the GL.

I've always preferred the RPK-74 and the MG36.

1) RPK-74
2) MG36
3) PKM
4) M249
5) Type-95

I can't get over singing the RPK's praises; that thing actually makes playing support fun, instead of feeling like a victim to every rifleman in the server.

BTW, variable is right. The damage that LMGs do to choppers is really no greater than regular rifle fire. Somewhat unfortunate, but oh well.

u have to put ammo bags where ppl are going, like, doors, gateways, spawnppints etc.

The weapon is powerfull when players walk straight at you or away from you.
Against chopper only when it is already smoking

That much is true. I was prone on the low rooftop to the east of the first flag on Karkand, and I killed two jeeps trying to zoom past the frontline by firing at them with my RPK.

This might be contravirtual but the MG36 has the most stoping out of all the LMG . Dont beleave me try this find an empty server find a buggy stand infront of it then take 5 paces back go prone and fire. Do that for all the LMG and youll see that the MG36 destroys the buggy faster than any other LMG.
And from that test id put the weapons in this order :-

1. MG36
2. RPK
3. PKM
4. M249
