Have you tried a full re-install with all new driver install?

I dont overclock anything at this moment and i havent overclocked anything yet. Temps are good, Cpu about 60°C and where can i check the Graphic cards temp? In another post i've read it could be the Soundcard, ive got a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS, EAX in BF2 enabled, in the post is written that maybe turning off EAX would be better because at some moments in the game there are too many loud noises like a tank a heli a jet a gun at the same time, this could be, i remember front of me 2 tanks fighted against each other and there were some people running and shooting and when i entered the helicopter that stood there the game crashed after 5 seconds in the heli. At the moment I'm not at home so i cant test it with eax disabled, but I'll test it when i'm home and I'll give you an answer wheter it runs. Cya

Are you running the lastest OpenAL audigy beta drivers?

          Have you updated PunkBuster?

OpenAl Audigy? Do I need this driver?
And Punkbuster? Have I to update it on my own? Isnt it updatet automatically by the patch 1.12??

              Naw..Punkbuster still sucks.
Since BF2 supports OpenAL, you should try to use an OpenAL audio driver if one is available (and in this case, it is)

Also, try disabling VOIP in-game unless you REALLY REALLY need it.

Ohhh i hate it, now I know why I play this game so rarely. It still crashs to desktop at a random time. Damn it. I hope it will get better in 1.2 , but if someone has another idea to fix it, tell me, please.

allright, I might have the fix. Now I know you'll get p!ssed off when I say this but you might have to get your computer re-formated (a.k.a, wiped out). I try it and it worked! You dont have to follow my Idea but if your really desperate for this game, try it. Tell me if it workes.

I have the same problem... but I cant even play the game... Right when I start it the screen goes black as if it was going to show the EA logo...but it crashes back to the desktop.... The game only crashes AFTER i install a new patch...So im stuck playing 1.02 untill someone finds a way to fix the crashing and the BF2CDKeyCheck.exe on the 1.1.2 patch.
