Server list / filters wont work
Wondering if there was ever a solution to the ingame server filter not working. When i first load up bf2 it updates the list, but if i try to change any filters or update the list it goes completley blank, and i cannot get the server list back untill i restart Bf2. I have tried reinstalling Bf2, I have the latest drivers for all aspects of my PC, including network card. I have disabled all firewalls, bypassed my router and hooked into the net totally totally unprotected and to no avail it still goes blank when i try to update or add any filters. Please help if anyone knows a fix to this, Im sick of having to restart Bf2 over and over to to find a server. and scrolling down thru 900+ servers is way to laggy and slow, takes 15 mins to find what im looking for.

(It's titled, "**Server Browser Fix**" I'd add the URL, but the forum seems to be constipated right now and it's hard to traverse. :p)
Summary: Don't select more than six options, or something like that. -

They do work, you do not need to have the punkbuster option selected if you play in Ranked servers exclusively. You must have no more than 5 filters selected at any given time. If you have more they soom to sh!t the bed for some reason. This topic was covered already in several other threads, including the official bug lists made by BadLizzard.Comment

Thanks for the help guys it worked, I had 9 filters selected and when i tried to add a map name filter it went blank, so i unchecked over half of them since i can now just search for what im looking for.Comment
