    Can't get to the menu.

    I bought battle field two today. I installed, downloaded and installed all patches in order. and then tried to play online. I open it up, EA logo, Dice logo, intro movie. then a voice says to me "welcome recruit" or something similar. and then it freezes....everytime so far.

    I've uninstalled reinstalled, I messed with drivers, I've checked my specs 2000 times.

    I just want to know how to fix this.

          Yes, please TELL US your specs so that we may help

          Did you install BF2 under a Windows XP admin account?
          Do you have a software firewall running? (e.g. ZoneAlarm, Symantec IS, etc) If so, disable it before playing BF2
