i recently tried to open up my accound on bf2 and after it starts to connect to account server the game just quits and goes away...however if i use my friends account it works perfectly. i recently tried to make a movie with battle launcher and im wondering if this could have anything to do with it? i also get no error messages.

but it sounds like some options associated with your profile got messed up...so deleting that, deleting your profile options.
Your account resides on the GameSpy server so it won't affect your account..you'll just have to set up your graphics and sound options again...'bro
