    Crouching rolling shot

There is a super effective rolling shot in BF2 that I've seen many folks do. They crouch, roll and shoot all at the same time. What keys do you use to do that?

    Thank you,

I'm not positive on this but i think its just an animation in the game all there doing is moving sideways ( A or D ) and then pressing Z to crouch.

It's simply an in game animstion, whenever you go prone and fire you are doing this on their screen, and viseversa.

its a very effective animation - as it screws with your head meaning you become convinced that his shots are flying everywhere and you are about to score an easy kill when in fact each one is splitting your skull in half!

            Heres how you do it

            1. Straife

            2. Press Z

            3. Press spacebar and do it again

It takes some practice to perfect it. you know you're doing it when you see you screen bob a bit

Haha, so true. I had this happen the other night, a guy came around a corner, I see him start to go into a roll, firing the other way, I hesitated and then died hahaha.

Yeah, it's the worst when watching a support soldier do this..it REALLY looks as if they're shooting laterally instead of what they're REALLY doing...shooting at YOU.

Oh yippee - now people are going to turn this into a variation of the dolphin dive.

Now what can we call this one? Maybe this one is the seal slip, or the otter over, or the bear barrelroll, or the duck walk, or the slippery beaver, or the rolley polley, or the shark shuffle, or the ....

Its just an animation. Aim for the head or the chest and don't worry about what the char looks like.
