Just got round to downloading patch 1.12, go to run it and it tells me there is not enough disk space available (3000MB)
It's crazy i have 2 drives - C which is only 8 gig but just has the OS and drivers on which has 3.10 GB free and D which has 40 GB free and is where BF2 is installed. I have removed everything from C to try and free up space defraggged, disk cleanup etc etc but can only free up 3.10GB, how much space does this thing need beacuse it does say 3000MB but obviously this isn't the case. why can't i just use the space on my D drive??!
If any one knows of a way round this (apart from the obvious, scrap the 8 gig drive) or the exact space I need please let me know as it driving me mad!!

. The link daxmann posted is broken at the moment. Is there another page I could look at or can anyone give instructions? I have the exact same problem as alfie except I really don't have 3gb. I have the 2 hard drive setup, one with about 600mb free space (C: ) and one with 13gb free space (D: ). The patch insists on using C:... how can I install the patch on D:? I appreciate the help,
