C4'N Quickly

Hi,

I see many c4'ers kill me before i can get a shot in, I want to know how they switch from the c4 to the detonater so fast as when i try to do it i pull out another c4 pack or something stupid like that, Is there a trick to throwing c4 & blowing it up quickly as this would help with the badge.

& yes i do click the left mouse after i've chucked it.

Some use a macro to do it but its really not that hard after 5 minutes practice most can do it though its very lame and I wouldn't even worry about doing it because you won't be able to jump throw C4 in the next patch.

Plant the C4 with the left mouse button, get the detonator in your hand with thre right mounse button... Boom. All of about 2 seconds with a little practice.

2 secs :laugh: I can do it in a split sec before it even hits the ground. In fact I can explode it at head height, it just takes practice, of which I spent 5 minutes doing it to master it. Jump, left click, right click, left click.

Ignore what you can see happening and go with what you know will be happening. It'll look like you're throwing another pack down, but instead the first pack will detonate.

Doesn't work if you got high pings or slight lag spikes, btw
i can do it on local server (20ping) but not on the main servers i play in (90+ ping)

Should get mine before the next patch, I find it so boring though jumping around with C4. I'd rather just blow up vehicles, there just aren't enough though.

There are many threads, I even made one about this, people just plainly ignore the animation glitch, basicly you see more c4 popping up but its an illusion, however for those who have a slow connection or a bad ping, this is NOT possible and more c4 actually appears on the ground, so it's not an illusion for them. Frankly Commo esta's bitches, 1.2 is coming

yea me too. personally i think C4 spamming + bunny hopping is bad. i tell myself once i got expert explosive, i'm gonna be a good man :)

I also heard that looking up at a certain angle made it easier to get the detonator out quickly. Might be a myth, though.

Exactly. Don't look at anything. Toss, right click, left click, will look like a 2nd pack goes down on the ground, but it won't and the one you tossed out will blow up. You can do this fast enough to actually kill yourself while the C4 is still in mid-air....

Not really, defending flags and booby trapping alleys can net more C4 kills than throwing it, and less deaths. 24/7 Karkands where the USMC bumrushs the Hotel and Square, you can get 10 in one shot.
