Helis SF vs BF2

I just got SF like 5 days ago and I cant seem to fly the copters as well as in regular BF2. does anyone else like the original copters over the new ones

I do becuase i like the challange, the first time you fly them your like like "woa there differnt" and then you get used to them and its really fun

I love the Apache, I can fly much better with that than any of the vanilla choppers :)

The Hind is a bit too heavy for my liking though, but it's cool that you can point its nose almost directly downwards without losing altitude! Guess it just takes some practice to master the flying bus.

I think they handle better for a few reasons. Namely, they dont lose altitude as fast, smoother yaw functions, and they feel quicker to respond.. which makes sense, bigger motors = more power and therefore, lightning fast reflexes are possible (namely, myself dodging 8 pointblank missles from the Essex by manner of a climbing barrel roll)

I think the Cobra would be like a sports car and the Hind like a school bus, with the Apache and the other MEC chopper like Catalacs or SUVS.

the apache is prety good, the hind just sucks big time , youy can fly it, but it doesn't match the apache or vanilla choppers , but the misiles have bigger splash damage

I don't think the SF choppers are better, but they are more fun to fly imo.

You guys are nuts. SF choppers...

1. Have less powerful cannons
2. Are less manuverable
3. Have terrible angles for the TV-guide
4. Have terrible angles for the cannons

Wow, put me and my pilot on an SF map with a cobra, z-10, or havoc and we will own anyone in their apache or hind.

Also, with the limited scope of the SF maps, the fun of air-dropping squads was taken away. Transports just aren't fun anymore.

I can fly them fine but what annoys me is a hind vs apache the hind is going to lose. Its pretty unbalenced. I haved vsed people in helicopters in bf2 as well Cobra Vs Chinese or any other helo cobra will win just about every time just because of how big the other helo is...
