I am sure these are 2 n00b questions but...

Hello everyone. I searched your forums but I wasn't able to find these answers.

    1) I was looking to buy Battlefield 2 on Ebay to save a little money. I noticed that a bunch of the cheaper ones were written up in the product description as "being played once". If I buy this copy and use their key, will I be able to play online? Like, I was thinking, even if the person never plays BF2 again, will I be able to use their key? It was a $20 or more difference between new and used so I was kind of weary about this.

Even if they DID play online again, while I was playing, is there a certain allotment of concurrent connections of the same key that EA allows to play online at the same time? I would hate to buy it, only to find that the key has been blocked from playing, or that I can only play sometimes because the guy who sold it to me is using the key at that moment.

    2) My second question is that on Ebay, I found this copy the game:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=8250895600

This game looked good and all until I noticed this:

"BRAND NEW IN SEALED RETAIL BOX. FULL ENGLISH VERSION (box, manual, box print and game are all in ENGLISH), game is an IMPORTED English version but is the SAME GAME as US version and GUARANTEE to work on US servers. Game will be shipped out within 24 hrs after you paid"

An IMPORTED ENGLISH VERSION?!!? What does this mean exactly? Will I be able to play with people who play the US version online? Are all patches and updates supported on this "import" version?

Thanks a lot everyone, I appreciate it. Hope to see ya playing BF2 in the near future!

Welcome by the way! E-Bay is a tricky site. People swear by it, but I am always leery of things you cannot return if the seller screws you. It happens all the time, check the sellers background thoroughly!

To the first one you can only have one cd key per online account on one computer so i wouldnt go for that one cause it sounds like he just copying it and selling it on and you will be stuck with singleplayer.

Number 2 is absolutely no problem, I own Call of Duty and thats been imported for Asia along with my medal of honor. It will work on any server around the world without a doubt

Yeah, I am kind of freaked out by it too actually. I think I am just going to end up buying it from Amazon. I would rather pay a little extra and have peace of mind than get some hacked copy that I can't play online cause I was being cheap.

So just to be clear, even if he logged on once under his computer and never logs on again, I still won't be able to use his key?
