    Anyone else have this problem?

    OK, I have been all through the EA support process. To be honest, they did everything that they could and did seem to put a lot of effort into resolving my issue.

    However, I get what I can only describe as intermittent jerking in my movement. It makes the game almost unplayable. I keep hoping that the next patch will fix it - but so far, no luck.

    This only happens when playing online. It occurrs in vehicles and when running. There doesn't appear to be anything that triggers it.

    A FRAPS video cap is available here (500k, I think you have to right click and "Save target as"). You can see two instances of my problem.

    Here are my specs;

    ASUS P4P800 motherboard
    P4 3.0 GHz processor
    2 Gb dual channel DDR Ram
    Terratec DMX6/Fire soundcard
    nVidia GEForce FX5950 Ultra 256 Mb (I know it is time to upgrade!)
    Windows XP
    7200 Maxtor SATA HB (80Gb)
    Logitec MX1000 cordless laser mouse

    Internet connection;
    2 Mb cable DSL (Telewest)
    Netgear WG111 802.11 wireless router

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Are you using wireless connection or hardwired?

    Only thing I can think is either the Netgear router is having trouble with the large packet sizes, or there is a bad relay along your ISP's lines.

      Yes it is a wireless router that I am using.
      Would this cause the chnge of direction that I sometimes experience?

      E.g. I can be facing left, moving mouse left, but it suddenly jumps something like 30ยบ to the right!

        I know the router is wireless but what I mean is the connection to the computer wireless? Liek the router is in another room and you're using the wireless connection to game on it? Or is the computer actually hardwired to the router?

          Sorry, yes the router is in another room and I use the wireless connection when gaming.

            I have this problem as well with an ati x700 on a lan with a cable router(not wireless). Like you I went through the entire EA process and they couldnt help me. This also happens to me in many other online games such as CS:S, Far Cry, majorly in Wolfenstein Enemy Terriorty (I click and a second later my gun fires), Doom 3, Painkiller, Global Ops, etc. I desperatly need help here, noone seems to know what to do, and ive done almost everything to try and fix this. It seem that in all these games the person Im shooting at isnt actally where im shooting but a bit in front of the image that Im seeing. If anyone could help I would be very greatful.

              its one of two things:

              1. Connection Lag
              2. Graphical Lag

                Going to change broadband supplier anyways - so fingers crossed...
