Death Mode Popup?

When I'm dead, I'm able to fly around, view different players, etc., but why does the squad screen/map keep coming up every five seconds. Is there a way to turn this in-game popup off?

PS - This fly around feature is available on counter strike, UT2004 and other games. Some games even allow a gamer to not be part of a team, but an observer. It would be really cool for LAN parties to have observer roles, but whatever. I just want to see the gameplay without that damn popup.

press the X on the top right hand side of the map...

kind of an addon to this question, but one thing I have noticed is no longer when I press C to change the camera while in this mode mention above, does it allow me to view other players. Any one else have this?

You can only do this when you are killed. Bot critically wounded.

I know that, I'm not new to the game I usually look around when I am totally dead, you know, when there are no spawn points left, but C wont do that anymore, it's like it stopped working.

space bar still works for me to switch player views. Try whatever you have mapped to your jump key.

Yea I have figured that out, the space bar thing, but C is mapped to my change view...yet doesn't work. Really it's not that big of a deal...just wondered why it wasn't working for me.
