When you go into a server with Battlerecorder on it. (you can filter it on the server menu) you play a game, and after its finished, it will come up in the "Community" bar on the BF2 main menu. you have a list of all the recordings there, and can download and watch at your leisure.

    Hope that helped.

OK 1st step is you don't have to turn anything to record your games. The key is to get onto a server that has BR enabled and more importantly working correctly which our server does. Details are in my sig.

Then after you play a few games or once you have finished your gaming session, click on the in-game community tab. Then in the left column you should see bookmarks for the games you just played. Click on the game you want to download, then click download. Then once downloaded it will appear in the right column. Then click the BR demo then play and it will look like its launching into a game. Once you get into it use these commands to control the camera views.

      PLAYBACK

As well as using the 'Q' and 'T' keys to control the playback of a
recording, you can also use a set of keyboard shortcuts:

      - Keys 1 - 9
      Change the playback speed.

      - Toggle Free Camera / Player Camera
Alt Fire Key. By default this is the Right Mouse Button.

      While in free camera mode:

      - W, A, S, D
Move forwards, backwards, strafe left and right.

      - Double Tap W
Move camera quickly. Alternatively you can hold the Sprint key.

      - Crouch / Prone
      Move camera up and down.

      - Mouse
      Rotate camera.

While in the player follow camera mode:

      - Space bar
      Next / previous player.

      - W and A or the mouse scroll wheel
      Zoom camera in and out.

      - Crouch / Prone
Tilt the camera up and down.

      - Mouse
      Rotate camera around the player.

      Enjoy using BR!

You are connecting to servers that dont have it setup properly then. Try ours. I KNOW it works. IP below

I'll jump on the bandwagon here to ask a question -

why do all demo files I've tried so far end prematurely at about 1/2 to 2/3 into the round?
Is there a timelimit I'm unaware of?

              Re: battlerecorder?

No there is no time limit, sometimes it seems that they end prematurely but in fact that is the end of the round. All mine play from start of the round to the end.

To peaches ^ what the Mrs said. As I said 99% of servers that claim to have BR enabled don't work properly.

However you will get the same error on ours if you don't download them within a couple of days because we only store a max of 100 BR demos. So after you finish playing make sure you download them because if you try a few days later they will be over-written and that's the error message you will get.

The only other server I can guarantee that BR works is TKG, because I set it up personally for them.
