    Blue screen of death

For soime reason after i installed the 1.12 patch everytime i take a screenshot my whole game freezes and than that blue screen of death pops up. It mentions an overusage of memory or something like that. But it cant be my RAM because i have 2 gigs and 60 gigs left on my HDD.
    Happen to anyone else?

hmm thats a very odd thing to happen to a rig of that quality i dont take screen shots in game i use fraps,im leaning towards the idea it somthing in the patch (did it do this b4 the patch) does it do it (bluescreen)on anything else you do on you cpu?

you could try and change the molex on youre hd(just swap it for another thats free on the power supply)

if it onlys does this while u take a screen shot in bf2 id be prety sure it some kind of bug with the patch(only way to be sure is to try it with vanilla bf2 and see if the result is the same(if u do and it works)then its the patch.try fraps out u can take screen shots with that pretty easy to use.hope this helps a bit.

              Re: Blue screen of death

As of the beginning of the post, it was clear that this error couldn't be caused by hardware. My advice: check your video drivers. Uninstall older drivers using Driver Cleaner Pro rather than using the Windows Uninstall.

Having the Blue Screen of Death is highly unlikely in Windows XP (assuming you're using that). Also, nothing points to hardware.

Overusage of memory is what you mentioned. Assuming you have 3GB of RAM, this is also highly unlikely. Unless, you misplaced your RAM sticks and shut off pagefiling eventually causing you to use only 1 GB while you're thinking otherwise, namely 3GB. But this again, is highly unlikely and mere speculation. Also, if WindowsXP encounters memory shortage it most of the time closes current appplications which are not run by the SYSTEM.
