SF Weapon unlock Help

Hi all, new to BF2 Franchise so need some help out with the unlocking system.

1) In BF2, a gained rank enables you 1 unlock, but in SF, how do u gain unlocks. I've heard that all u need to do is to play 1 min and kill 2 pple, you get 2 unlocks? I've played 1 hr, and I've only got 1 unlock. How do I gain more unlocks and what is the SF system?

2) Another word of mouth I've heard is that once u reach Gunnery Sergeant, you will gain 2 unlocks in SF, is that true?

3) Lastly, do i need to unlock the BF2 weapon 1st b4 i can unlock the SF weapon? Eg for assault class, must i unlock the G3, b4 i can unlock the F2000? Or I can unlock the F2000 straight away after i've gained a unlock? Question applies for all other classes.

1) Bf2 does allow you to unlock new weapons starting at lance corporal, 7 unlocks in total. BF2:Sf has 5 unlocks that can be opened up. How is explain in 2

2) It's not gunnery sgt, its sgt. Once you reach the rank of sgt, you will start recieving 2 unlocks, not one. This only applies if you own sf and have played for a bit in it.

3) Yes. If you want to unlock the f2000 for example, you must have unlocked the g3 first. However, you do not have to use the second unlock to unlock an SF gun. You may just unlock another bf2 weapon if you want, and unlock SF weapons later on

Hi, but I've played SF for quite a bit, and Im a Sergeant, but received only 1 unlock as of late. Is this suppose to happen?

So how will i gain my next unlock for SF? When I reach Staff? Or i need to play longer before gaining the 2nd unlock for the Sergeant Rank I know the BF2 unlocking system but not SF. Cuz u said there are supposed to be 5 SF unlock, but following the BF2 ranking unlock, I will not gain 5 from the Sergeant Rank onwards

Is it when I reach staff, I get 1 BF2 unlock+ 1 SF unlock = 2?

Pls explain. Thanks!

You have SF and are Sergeant with 4 unlocks.
This is correct.

Hi, thanks for the update!

Meaning to say, when i reach staff Sergeant, i will get another 2 unlocks?
