SF unlocks help

Hi all, new to SF so need some help out with the unlocking system.

1) In BF2, a gained rank enables you 1 unlock, but in SF, how do u gain unlocks. I've heard that all u need to do is to play 1 min and kill 2 pple, you get 2 unlocks? I've played 1 hr, and I've only got 1 unlock. How do I gain more unlocks and what is the SF system?

2) Another word of mouth I've heard is that once u reach Gunnery Sergeant, you will gain 2 unlocks in SF, is that true?

3) Lastly, do i need to unlock the BF2 weapon 1st b4 i can unlock the SF weapon? Eg for assault class, must i unlock the G3, b4 i can unlock the F2000? Or I can unlock the F2000 straight away after i've gained a unlock? Question applies for all other classes.

1.) There are no unlocks in SF per se. The unlocks you gain are only usable in vBF2.
2.) Don't know. Check out http://wiki.bf2s.com and dig around a little.
3.) Yes. (EDIT: You need to unlock the G3 first before you get the F2000 option.)

so basically, If I unlock the G36c with my Lance Corporal rank, then once I hit Corporal I can unlock the Scar-L?

Since the 1.03 patch and then SF x-pack, I have no clue anymore about how many unlocks one gets at any particular rank. :) (I honestly have never played for points and truly never paid much attention.) Check out that site I linked to above: all your questions should be answered there.

Let your stats update and the unlocks will appear. You are not getting anything extra in SF per se...Rather you will see a 3rd tier of unlocks in the nilla game
