Changing text display settings?

I was wondering if there is any way to turn off the text on the screen? It's really distracting sometimes to have green yellow red and white text taking up a huge corner of the screen...

Can i make it fewer lines or smaller font or something? Or just have it display the important messages. I really don't need to see that my teammate half-way across the map just got bombed...

Not at this stage unfortunetly. I don't you'll ever be able to stop text in the near future.
