    MD5 error when installing BF2

    now whenever i install the game always halfway pop out this problem





    at 1st i tok these files are missing in my game, but i went in check they are thr, the problem is i can open BF2, but always cant play single player or even load a map

    any idea can help?

    AFAIK that MD5 error is telling you that the data for those files are corrupted.
    Your best bet is probably to go to EA tech support and see if you can get them to send you some new install discs.

      Another thing you can try is removing one stick of ram from the DIMM socket. Asking for new discs is a good idea, but try installing the game with just 1 stick of RAM. I am betting you have like 2-3 modules and 1 of the bunch is not the same as the others....AM I correct?

        OMG u are like spot on, 1/2 yr ago during my 1st installation of BF2 im on 1GB ram, 1 mth ago i add in 2x256mb ram, thereafter i decided to format my comp since it is quite messy, and i cant install BF2 anymore cos of this problem

        anyway i don tink is my cd got problem cos i borrow another cd from friend i still faces the same problem, y does u think rams had a major issues on BF2??

          Yes i get the same error. i have a p4 3.2 ghz, 2x 512 mb ram, 6600gt 128mb video and i have tried it with my freinds disk and it does the same thing. Should i try installing with only 1 stick?? After i install can i put the other stick back in so it will run the same?? plz help!!!!

          i tied removing a stick of ram but it dosent work. My mother board is an ASUS p4p800-e Deluxe. Does any one know why i still get this message???????????

          ps. i have tried it with 2 different sets of cds and still does the same thing and when i try it on another computer it works perfectly just my other computer is not as good and cant run it. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
