Thats partially because the patch combined gameplay from the two games. It made it possible to play in bf2 servers with sf guns.

I have one unlock and I don't want to use it till the new patch releases because I heard that there will be two more unlocks added.

I assumed he meant for SF owners, since you needed SF to get them.
