Ok, i'm relatively new to BF2. I've only been playing since December 31 of 2005. So forgive the dumb question.

I just made SGT, if i install the SF expansion pack and unlock some of the SF weapons - can they be used in regular BF2?

SF weapons are second tier unlocks. This means you'll need to unlock the vBF2 unlock first before you can unlock the second weapon (for that kit).

Edit: For instance, for the Assault Kit, you'll need to unlock the G3 first before you can unlock the coveted F2000.

[strike]The G36C is the vBF2 SpecOps unlock. (My favorite gun, btw.) It has nothing to do with SF.[/strike] :)

EDIT: Did you edit that behind my back?? I swear it read differently. :p Anyway, the G36-E is the SF Medic unlock, so no, you'll need to unlock the L85A1 first.

No you can't unlock the g36c since it's a specops unlock while g36e is a medic unlock. To be able to unlock the g36e you'll have to unlock the l85 first since it's the medic unlock.

you'll be able to unlock the scar-L. The g36E is the medic special forces unlock. Peronsally I would use the second unlock to get a standard bf2 unlock...the scar-L is just too close in comparison to the g36C, only slightly more powerful yet slightly less accurate.

It's all preference, but personally, I can't stand the Scar-L. Too much recoil.
