battlefield 2 demo

i did a search and there wasnt any topic titles that had anything to do with a bf2 demo, so ill just ask here. I downloaded the demo and I clicked run dedicated server and it brought up a game launcher window. I click start and it brings up another black window like command prompt, it loads to 100% then does nothing, any help please?

Dedicated server means your computer only runs the server. BTW your server was running

Use the other .exe (the bf2.exe one), unless your trying to host a server?

ah sorry i didnt realise there was a support forum, i porbably should of posted there. ill try the .exe one

i suppose that the "Gulf of Oman Standalone Demo Server " wasn't the actual demo
