Ok I recently ranked up to First Sergeant and unlocked 2 new weapons. Now with this patch comming out and bringing new unlocks for sniper and at... will i recive a chance to get more unlocks without ranking up? I already have the sniper unlock so would it just bring uop my unlock screen and let me choose?

Well i think it is possible that I will recive a unlock.... They are not changing the ranking system.... they are just adding mor unlocks so lets say when you got your first unlock point...now you would recive 2 to balance out the more unlocks and ranks...........or I am just wrong and EA once again F*CKED ME OVER!Comment

Sorry chummer, I was yanking your chain.
It's most likely going to be implemented the same way SF was. You retroacticly get all the unlocks upto your current rank. Since there were only 5 unlocks in SF and 7 unlock ranks, they simply skipped the first two unlocks.
It makes the most logical sence to back it up and fill in those blank unlock ranks.
In short if you're Sargeant or higher, you will get 2 free unlocks after the patch.
You will require SF to get 'em tho.

I don't own SF, so if hypothetically someone got up to the 7th rank and got all the Vanilla unlocks, they then bought SF, would they then get 5 (plus the 2 coming)?
If so, thats cool. I didn't know if you got 2 per rank (one vanilla, one SF) or just one.Comment

Well that makes sense to me But I only have one problem now.... I dont have any anti tank unlocks....lol and I want the sniper unlock and the anti tank... So im going to have to rank up to 50k points but if the sniper unlock is going to be useless like I intend it to be.... I'm going to unlock the DAO 12 and the new weapon.Comment

Also, if you're the type who likes less vehicle based gameplay, you will enjoy SF maps. With the optimizations they've found in static mesh handling, the preformance hit should be reduced quite a bit.Comment

It's just another bolt action sniper rilfe, seems rather redundant. I was hoping for a magazine based sniper rifle for an unlock, like an SVD that I could use whenever I'm not playing MEC.Comment
