Yup, that's the easiest tell-tail of a stats padder.

You still have to make a subjective call tho. I've seen instances where someone is AFK for an entire round, but still spawning. This set's 'em up nicely to become a favorite victem of any local spawn campers. You can't blame someone for taking out an AFK enemy... what are you gonna do, NOT shoot 'em?

Anyway, the whole NOT shooting someone just sitting there is obvious, anyone will do it.

I really have an affinity for players who shoot people swimming though.....atleast let them draw a weapon.

I think more than 25 would be a good indication, but 25-50 should merely start an investigation. while above 50 should be an auto-reset.

I think it would be a GREAT idea, if a third-party set up a Battlefield 2 Bureau of Investigation. Where a team looks for these kinds of hints to stat padding, and then cleverly disguided people follow these potential padders into servers and gather additional information. Using this method would create a good circle of trust between EA/BF2RS and this third party BBI. I beleive it would expedite the resetting/banning of stat padders.

Look at the top ten again, there's only a couple that have enough to even pad a knife badge. I've played 64 player maps with only 16-20 people, how else you going to kill over and over?

One dude was like 3-47 in our server once and I know I killed him a lot. Just kept helo whoring the map and I got him every time.

Haha, they're completely useless. Every e-mail that goes there is sent straight to the "trash" folder. They dont care, in fact, they encourage stat-padding.

Well, of course I dont mean they sit in an evil "Bat Cave" thinking about how to help stat-padders, but they are known to do very little about it, even if it is VERY blatent. Such as this;

I followed this "AssultToxic" guy, and tried to get into the server he's in, but I keep getting an error when I try to connect (Check your network connections). However, I CAN see the scorebox in the bottom, and this is what it shows:

And 30 Seconds Later:

How does one obtain such a score only 10 mins into a game, and raise their score so drastically within only half a min?

I don't think you can make the call just by favourite vitcim kills, i've seen apcs/tanks go into air fields and camp the runway. It's amazing how many times idiots will spawn at the runway again to try get a jet while the apc is standing in the middle of it. I saw one guy die at least 42 times from the apc while trying to take a jet. I also play alot on 8v8 64 player maps so the rounds go for near 2 hours sometimes, although my favourite victim is still only like 9 times, i can see people getting high single player kills in these rounds.

Hmm... I'd have ta say you are the camper from your story, need to find something better to do with your time, or full of BS.

Actually i was on the team getting camped, however i only needed to die twice attempting to take the apc out to figure out to spawn somewhere else.

Just so you know there are other ways to tell when a person has died other than physically standing at the location, but then again with your mystical psychic powers that can determine that someone was camping or "full of bs" should already know that.

I have a terrible habit of repeatedly spawing at a point that is being camped by an apc/tank/jet etc so I can try to take it out. Even so my worst enemy has only killed me 9 times in a round.

I hate the idea of stat-padding as much as the next guy, but when it comes down to it i'm here to enjoy myself, not worry about other people getting to #1. I want rank so I can unlock new guns, not so I can be the global #1. B*llocks to 'em.... If it makes 'em happy, so be it.
