Whenever I start up BF2, it's actually, quite alright. My profile can connect to the account server. I can pick a server from the list to play on, and the server/map loads for me. Except when I DO join the server, I get stuck.
The game doesn't crash, because there is still noise and some movement in the background of the map/class selection of the other players. But whenever I try to move my mouse, press esc or whatever, nothing happens. If I do get disconnected from the server for the typical reasons, my mouse and keyboard and, well, everything responds as normal again.
I have updated my video drivers and reinstalled the game, still, not luck.
