    Internet censoring of gaming sites.....

    Default EA/DICE Hate mongering
    I'll be blunt.

If you make a thread that promotes EA/DICE hate mongery I will delete it and issue a 1 week ban.
If you stir up flames or troll legitimate discussions on EA's products or marketing techniques you will receive a 1 week ban.

Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Not been on the forum for a few days, so may have missed what kicked this off.

I know totalbf2 has got good relationships with DICE, and no doubt want to keep up this friendship, therfore yeah you will want to moderate, to a degree posters that were extremelly abusive.

But the above quote from the stickyed thread inmy humble, stinks a bit off selling out, and censorship of this 'discussion board'

If someone can state there greviance in a manner which is not abusive, be it with DiCE or EA...so what.

In my work, last night, I read one of the works little statements by the CEO on a feedback survey that most of the worldwide workforce could participate in and were encouraged to be open and honest (the survey was also anonymous and the collection of results were by a 3rd party independant company) His words "Without Honesty....how can we expect to go forward"

So would EA and Dice not benefit from having a look at the opinions of there marketing etc. Either people will agree or disagree to a posters view, so free customer feedback.

Besides all this the internet is one of the last bastions of free speech, and the post stickied above, especially without explanation,( please dont be blunt), is a bit off, too say the least.

This is moderation with Jack Boots on.

Totalbf2 is a community fan site, in that community there will be people that disagree with many aspects of the game they paid there money for, they are customers and if there expectations havent been realised then they have the right to there say.

And for the record Ithink the current marketing strategy sux ass, and will be sticking with the mods. When there eventual goal of no doubt having a perpetual world mp game with paying monthly describers is out (cause that defo looks the way there going) fingers crossed a worthy competitor to the bf series comes out, from a more customer focused company comes along, and they will get my hard earned mullah.

    Do I get a ban?

    Viva The Freedom of Speech.

Please fill in the poll, until this is locked..............:p

Have an absolutelly splendid day :p

totalbf2 is a private forum and the argument of freedom of speech is not valid.

Thank god someone said it before me.

Besides, the "Whaaaaaa! I hate EA" posts were getting to a disruptive level. This is a BF2 forum, not an "I hate EA" Forum. You wanna scream at EA, why not do it on their site?

We all know EA has problems. EA knows EA has porblems (ask almost anyone who works there).

So yeah, I'm glad DP took steps.
It doesn't mean you have to bow and scrape to EA... it doesn't even mean you have to be nice. It just means that we've heard it all and we'd like to talk about something else.

      Thanks.

Well there is nothing else to say after what Wargimp and other guy said about this. This is "Battlefield 2 forums" not "EA forums". If you have a problem with an EA product, you should make your complain here: http://forum.eagames.co.uk/viewforum...ca412a07e72cc8

You are free to voice your opinion on EA/DICE, as long as it is kept within reason. E.g "EA are a bunch of **** sucking ****ers" will not be tolerated, get me?
