EuroForce and 1.2 Unlocks

Ok, I've heard some rumors about this, and I'm trying to sift through rumor to fact.

They say the patch will have new unlocks in it. P90 and L96. Ok terrific.

They say Euroforce will have new weapons. Ok awesome.

But they don't say Euroforce will have new unlocks, though I am lead to believe it will.

Some people say Euroforce weapons won't be available as unlocks. I am horrified at the notion of this.

I guarantee that I will buy a $10 booster pack if it has a new (FULL) set of unlocks. If Euro Force and Armored Fury both have unlocks, then EA has $20 straight from my piggy bank. If not, I approach it a skeptic, and the way things look now, I might not get Armored Fury.

One more question is, are they adding only 1 new sniper and one new AT weapon? Because that really wouldn't fix many problems. AT and Sniper would still be one unlock behind if EuroForce weapons were unlocks. Sadly, this is what it looks like to me.

If you haven't noticed, variety in small arms is very important to me.

No one knows for sure, this is how i say it will play out though. The two unlocks in 1.2 will be available to those that have special forces, this making every kit have three weapons to choose from for those who have special forces. The first booster will not have unlocks, i believe this was stated in one of the interviews.

Yeah. you cannot use unlocks from the booster packs in BF2 or Spec Forces.

IMO the weapons will come out as "normal" unlocks like the SF unlocks. You probably don't need EURO booster pack to unlock them. The EURO forces just use those two weapons as normal, like SAS have all the unlocks in use in SF.

So the rest of the EURO weapons won't come out as unlocks.

BUT if those two guns come out as unlocks I demand a new selection of weapons for all! I have like 10 000 points for my next unlock and I don't want to wait so long! I want to be able to unlock them right away!

Im guessing its gonna be possible to use the default unlocks (g3, m95, dao ...) in the booster packs. But EA said that the new weapons in the booster packs wont be unlockable in bf2 or bf2sf.

I wish they would reset global unlocks only when they do this. I have a little over 20,000 pts having ranked up last week, and won't have a chance to pick an unlock for another 30,000 pts according to the current model, therefore making it impossible to pick either of the two new choices. They should reset our unlocks so we can pick again when they make all these changes i.e. new weapons, and changing attributes of existing weapons.
