If any game is going to replace BF2, it will be UT2007 with it's new conquest mode.

My money would be on BF2 to still be one of the most played multiplayer games, even after these games are released. Battlefield has longevity and will be around for a long time to come.

You can also order vehicles and they will be dropped by a plane. Reminds me of C&C Renegade...

It's like a combo of Bf2 and halo with better graphics from what i'm seeing...

looks really nice does that & since its on the Q4 engine (Doom 3) it will most likely perform better too, which is good news for all of us :)

Hmm, wasn't the original ET a RTCW mod? That games kicked ass.

ET was based on RTCW, yes. Both games kicked ass, & I prefer both to the Battlefield series, simply because they focus much more on individual, CQC merit, rather than, say, planes/choppers/tanks.

And BF2 stole the medic resurrection from RTCW.

Correct again. BF42 had no such class. They got the idea from RTCW. I personally can't wait to see what this game is like.

looking at the trailer it does look extremely nice, hope it will not be some other deathmatch like crap, and it will be something like taking, destroying, ... other bases, also teamwork things like in bf2 , but replacing ?? don't think so

Teamplay and objectives are much more important and better used than in BF2
