looking at the trailer it does look extremely nice, hope it will not be some other deathmatch like crap, and it will be something like taking, destroying, ... other bases, also teamwork things like in bf2 , but replacing ?? don't think so

I hope its more like BF2 where strategy is involved, and not like playing Quake online, where pretty much everything is available to you, you just have to pick it up.

Maybe more like an RPG FPS in a sense, somewhat the way BF2 is.

Looks very good, but I don't think this is going to "kill" BF2. I mean it has nice graphics and all but atleast I'm not so into alien stuff. Stick with the reality.

yeah its nearely there but in the end its still far too spacey to be a serious competitor.

What someone should do is basically make a bf2 clone using the doom engine (which is what quake uses) or better still use the new unreal 2007 engine.

Apprantly vehicles dont just respawn in Quake Wars, helicopters drop them off.

ET:QW is going to be quite different than ET, we can't know for sure how it's going to be like, we can just wait and see.
But i assume there would be more skill envolved then BF2, since quake is known for very little randomness, can't wait to try the demo.

i no a little about enemy territory quake wars,i also seen the video look great.
it made using a enanced bf2 engine!! check the water and mountains on the video you will see the similaratys.
