Hi, i have FINALLY got Special forces to install!
But.......i double click the icon on the desktop and voila, screen goes black and goes back to the desktop. Hooray!

Any one know how to help?

Are you clicking on Play Online icon or the Special Forces icon. My Play Online does what you said.

Did you reinstall the 1.12 patch ?
After installing Bf2 you have to install the 1.12 patch, then install SF and then reinstall the patch.
