    Re: Controlling your 'chute

I found this out by accident...playing on Oman. I stole a jet to get my parachute badge and shot my self straight up, I think I bailed out(on a 32 player map) over the flag closest to the Notrh beach and I glided on my shoot all the way out to the carrier, landed, and killed 11 people with my trusty pkm before someone figured it out and minigunned my ass from the blackhawk. It was fun, but I remember I sailed around for about 2 or 3 minutes...not much actual shooting, but cool seeing jets/heli's whipping past me...

Oh let me explain this too, i forgot to mention this in my above post:
If youre looking forward you are travelling forward.
Look down and you will go down straight.

        Cool to know.

But really you can glide and land accurately with your chute open better than just falling. Other than not being spotted coming down not much point. As likely with me it will lag and then I will just splat on the floor.

By the title, I thought this was gonna be a thread about how to prevent accidentally soiling yourself.

                Re: Controlling your 'chute

This thread is ALL wrong. This thread is absolutely NOT about controlling your 'chute which would technically mean your parachute, retard. I mean, honestly, I was looking through this entire post for something about parachute guiding. ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO SKYDIVE! Pressing W and S doesn't do crap. To get into the skydiver's X, I think it was noted, you have to fall approximately 10 feet, also the same amount of time until you are able to deploy a parachute. Also, if you look straight down and to the west of the map, you will go straight down but slightly to the west of the map, NOT STRAIGHT DOWN. Christ. The thing that ticks me off is that you're trying to pass off this information as legit.

Yeah u can do some really funny stuff with this. I've also got a map with a pretty high spawn point and its kinda cool the stuff u can do.
