The A-10 always had that cannon. It's the GAU-8 Avenger and it's only mounted in the A-10.

Desert Combat. A mod of Battlefield 1942. It's what BF2 was built on.

And BF2 doesn't even hold a candle to it. =/

Early reports from people who played the small CTF of it that came out said it was horrible.

Point of Existence 2 is what I'm looking forward to.
What those guys did with the BF:V engine was incredible. Can't wait for it in BF2

I played the Desert Confict mod when it came out. Didn't really notice much of a difference other than I couldn't seem to find the flag I was supposed to steal. Overall I'm not a big fan of CTF, so I didn't stick around playing for long.
I'll judge the game when it's completed for conquest.

The CTF mini-mod was only a beta of the gamemode, how can you judge a mod on a BETA version of a gamemode alone? They've yet to add their vehicles, weapons, and soldiers into the mod. There were a few bugs that surfaced, and they were fixed with server-side patches over the days following the release. Other than that, it beat the pants off of conquest. Only problem I had with it was the spawning on the squad leader causing a bit more campage than the usual in CTF.

As someone mentioned a day or two ago, none of these mod servers will be ranked. Maybe some people will play them for fun. Who knows?

The harrier will be just like the F-35, prob, so it might be somewhat good against the noobs that want the pilot to get a TK cause somebody didn't get to the plane first.

there are like 5 or 6 mods with the harrier being included, DICE probablyy put it in just so they wouldnt be left out
