Is this confirmed info then? I know there has been a lot of speculation this is the new sniper unlock, but where's the evidence?

Let me get this straight. Are we only getting one sniper rifle? As in just the booster pack. Or will there be one in the patch plus another one in the booster pack.

If that was the case we would have too many snipers running around. It's fine the way it is. Better accuracy can't hurt though.:p

Well, when Special Forces was released, there were new unlocks for all classes except sniper and AT. Don't ask why, because I don't know. Anyway, they obviously for one reason or another decided to keep everything fair, and give sniper and AT their second unlock too, in the 1.2 patch. Better late than never.

Don't get confused. There is new weapons in the booster packs, many of them. There will be a separate new sniper weapon, for anyone that owns Special Forces with the patch.

They didn't give snipers and at's unlocks because there was not enough unlock rewarding ranks making it imposible to get every weapon..

And sense they felt the sniper rifle and Antitank shot gun were powerfull enough they decided to leave those kits out

Now with the new ranks coming out they can release the AT and sniper unlock

The patch adjust the sniper rifles for accuracy (thank god). Hopefully this means more 1s1k scenarios. If I shoot someone in the upper chest/head region with a sniper rifel like the M24 or the M95 especially it should kill them. The M95 should destroy a person due to its larger caliber. But it doesn't so there is no advantage other then it shoots through glass which to me is a whopie-do-da thing since most snipers aren't trying to shoot pilots from planes, etc.

If it did well then that would be the next thing for everone to complain about with C-4 throwing, prone jumping, bunny hopping while shooting, and with a time fuse on the GL GONE!!!:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: all these losers will be sh*ting their pants thinking omfg im gonna get owned, but hey the snipe kills with 1 shot I just whore that
