To hell with planes, to hell with helo's, to hell with tanks......you want to be innovative, give me a machete as an alt fire weapon add on, the new guns aren't likely to change anything in the games dynamics (okay maybe the snipe and AT ones will), and plane and armor whores will always be that way (they will have armored fury to play with), for all the infantry fans give them something to play for again, give us a little slice and dice to spice things up (then I may be able to get the stupid vet knife badge) …..just my opinion, I could be wrong

-what do you have creeping around your brain that could actually change the game play (and yes the proverbial “yogurt cannon” ideas do count)?

lol. A machete. Well personally I think when you stab a tire with the knife it should flatten the tire and make for a wobbly ride and if all 4 are stabbed, the vehicle is disabled. Same with APC.

-A waterpistol for snipers that does exactly 2 bars damage to have an insulting finish-them-off weapon
-A megaphone, vehiclemountable to shout VOIP things at nearby friendlies and hostiles.
-An elbow, to push people down ridges and get the kill for it / a boot to kick their ass and send them flying down. If you ram/boot someone against a hard obstacle, they take some, but not fatal damage.

I still think they need to put horsies in the game and you can ride around and shoot on horseback...but of course it would be so sad everytime the horsies died :cry:

What I thought of, and really found myself wanting is this:
-Foldable bikes for the assault class.
To me, the assault class is the most useless, and I near never play it. For all I care, they could just wipe it from the game entirely.
Why not give them a special skill, like all the other classes? That special skill being a foldable bicycle.
It would be not very fast, but could outrun a foot soldier. It would be silent and not light up as a target to bombers, but would have very little hitpoints.
It would make the assault class useful, because they could "quickly" and silently pedal around, even when there's a lack of other transportation, and would have a higher survivability against planes.

Uhm, other than the new model, what difference would there be compared to a knife?

You can already kill in 1 hit with the knife
You can already repeatdly stab someone

The only improvement I can think of is, with a machete, the mere sight of someone holding one takes 50% off your health...

Give me harpoon gun with a rope attached, spear people from moving vehicles and drag them along, or even if enough people spear a chopper you can keep it grounded :) hell its nothing remotely like real combat haha but sure would be funny :laugh:

Exactly, that's one of the many uses I envisioned.
The other one being obviously to play "ARTILLERY, YOUR AREA"/barrage sounds to them to see if they GTFO in panic. Or generally cause mischief by making enemy team/really loud bird sounds when they've heard you moving, so they don't keep searching.
Also getting your teammates out of the way. Many people misinterpret the honking of the car horn quite a lot - and indeed it isn't clear what is meant (get out of the way? get in?) at all times. Being able to shout "GANGWAY! HOT STUFF COMIN' THROUGH!" as you race around in wild abandon would also cause a decline in vehicle TKs.
Of course, I would also use it for plain absurdity (hiding in trees, playing TRAIN_BRAKE_SKREETCH.WAV to them at extra high volume).

Heheh yeah so many fun times to nbe had, fair point on the jeeps, i notice there are alot of people that dont know that +3 on the humvees mean that no matter how hard you press that E key im still gonna be wearing them on my windshield:cry: and then there gonna be punishing me and then the whole cycle of hate begins. Aha a new one...

A set of boxing gloves for the times when that team mates gotta be hurt but not killed :laugh: nothing id love more is to see Mr Stat padder being laid into with a set of bright red boxing gloves, hell id spend all game pummeling him just to prove a point :box: :laugh: omg they need to edit this smiley to make red gloves

Or hostile bodies. That was one of the very first things I tried in bf2: Sticking c4 to hostiles idling in their base. Too bad it ain't working.
Having a hostile guy carrying your c4 around on his back would be super. Especially when everyone except for him notices and tells him to get the hell away / plain runs from him.
