Before all the stats there were the maps....

I am just posing a question...

Would BF2 be better if we were all focused on winning the individual maps (see BF1942 ) instead of gaining personal stats?

Ok, do you think if the winning team recieved 5 extra points each would be an incentive to try and win the map by using classes that were needed instead of what your proficient with? If they could limit the team swapping and or you had to play on a side for at least 60% of the map? Im just asking what would it take to be more important to win the map (battle) than to gain personal stats?

I think 80% of all bf2 players play for stats, medals, ribbons, etc., not too many people play for fun as you can never get a good team going in any servers, I just get drunk and play that way you forget about the stats

I think a good incentive would be to give the winning team 50% more points a bit like the commander but he gets double for a win.

You assume that the two are mutually exclusive, which they are not.

I am very stat minded. . . however, it is not the end all for me. But, fact of the matter is that if I am not having fun playing, I stop playing. One can play for stats AND fun. . . certainly, it is fun to look at your stats and see how you have improved.

I would agree with that not only commanders get double point for winning but every1 just kidding... some extra points would motivate ppl I think, its a good idea
