When a specialist (Med/Sup/Eng) onboard a vehicle you are pilot/drive gets a heal/supply/repair point, you then in turn get one such point.

Re: What gets you a Driver Special Ability Point
One time I got such a point when I flied with a blackhawk with five passngers in it. I also picked one guy from the middle of the ocean when it was almost full. when they all arrived safely to wake island I got that special ability point. not sure if picking the guy from the ocean with the full blackhawk made a difference or not. I think it is the fact that they all arrived safely is what gave me that point.Comment

Re: What gets you a Driver Special Ability Point
These points are all lumped into the driver category though, aren't they? And I know the driver points category (on bf2s for example) also includes any time your driver gets a kill while you're a gunner, or vice-versa. Those aren't hard to get at all if you hop into a bomber jet or attack heli (or even a BH) as a gunner.
Black Duck, I'm guessing when you picked up that guy in the ocean he was injured and one of the people in your heli was a medic, so when you picked him up it started to heal him and when the medic got the healing point you got the driver point. Or, it could have been that you were shot in-flight and one of your passengers were injured and then got healed like that. But I know for a fact you don't get points simply for ferrying people around. Aradiel is correct on how these points are gotten.

Re: What gets you a Driver Special Ability Point
Maybe you are right, but I am sure that I got it the moment it landed and the people went out. Maybe someone got a healing point at that moment, who knows! I am also sure that a J-10 canon fired at us several times so maybe someone got injured.Comment

Re: What gets you a Driver Special Ability Point
Nope, really it IS just this simple, you are clocked every time you get in one, eg. you get 1 every 3mins and you are in a BH with passengers for 2:55 mins, as soon has you have been in with passengers again, in 5 seconds you get a point. that easy.
AKA: Taxi points.

Re: What gets you a Driver Special Ability Point
I found this from http://wiki.bf2s.com/stats/scoring-system
Driver special ability = 1 point. Note: You recieve these points while driving or piloting and someone that is in the vehicle with you recieves combat or team points.Comment

Re: What gets you a Driver Special Ability Point
No, no and no - you're all wrong. You receive Driver Special Disability points by delivering a full crew of n00b-t00bers to the front lines in a converted KTA-CSN personnel carrier (Karkand Transportation Authority for Children with Special Needs). Sheesh...

Re: What gets you a Driver Special Ability Point
When you are a passenger in a jet and your passenger gets a kill, it is NOT a driver abililty point. Its a kill assist. The way to get the driver ability is this. You are flying a BH. (example) you have a medic, support, and 2 engineers. If the medic heals somebody, you get a point, if the support re supplies somebody, you get a point. When ever someone gives a resupply or heal, the driver will get the point. If you drive around with 6 guys and they don't do anything, you won't get the points, even after 3 mins.Comment
