Useless chopper pilot needs help!

I'm a cr*p chopper pilot. I've looked at all of the great guides in this forum and others, and have mastered the basic controls, but still can't seem to improve.

I'm starting to think that the problem might be with the sensitivity settings I am using, which are basically the defaults.

Any tips?

Find a map with helo's and low players like 6/64 or something, so you can find room to practice.

I turned my sensitivities to maximun but I wish they could go higher.

make a local empty server and start learning how to do the manuevers.

learn how to fly between the trees and buildings. learn how to go through tunnels like in kubra. learn how to fly few inches above the surface. Learn how to land on a specific spot (like a helo pad). do some damage to the chopper and learn how repair it in mid-air over a pad. make yourself a commander and learn how to repair it by hovering over a supply crate. same thing with a flag capture.

For example in wake island learn how to fly beside the coast just above the water surface to avoid the AA.


Learnh how to move in a circle around a fixed target.

It is really all about practice. there is no magic thing that will make you a good pilot.

You can do all of what I mentioned above on your won local server.

I found that a good joystick makes a lot of difference. get a joystick with a large thruttle. Adjusting the sensitivity will not do any difference if you have a joystick because that is a mouse setting only.
