Should I upgrade from 9800 pro to 6800 gt.

I'm having a dilemma of buying a new video card or waiting a couple years and building a new computer. I currently have an ATI 9800 pro and I'm considering upgrading to a Nvidia 6800 gt. I play a lot of BF2 and Quake 4 on medium setting and I'm wondering how much of an improvement I'll see with the 6800 gt, and how well the Unreal 3 engine will work with a 6800 gt. I have a AGP board and I'm thinking maybe I should save my money and build a new computer in 1-2 years using pci-express.

Go for it, you'll be jumping from 8 pixel pipelines with the Radeon to 16 with the 6800 ='s twice the bandwidth, not to mention the higher core & mem speeds.
Remember to clean all traces of the Radeon drivers from your system before installing the 6800, Nvidia & Radeon drivers on the same system do not mix well, you've been warned.

you will notice a massive difference, but I generally change my graphics card once a year anway. get the card

The 6800 gt is a great card and overclocks like crazy my brother has the 9800 pro which is still a good card but side by side my 6800 ownz.

6800 gt will do you well until your next upgrade...
