Md5toolmismatch:bf2.exe(len=2048), i was kicked by PunkBuster with this statement

We had a clanwar yesterday and i was kicked in the game by PB. We almost lost the match because of this trouble (our clanleader was kicked too, so we had to change each other for couple of minutes, and then kicked again). I'm asking you to help me solve the problem. Of course, i have the licence version of the BF2 with disk in drive and without any cracks, **** or something like that. The only thing i had change is disablement of the into movies. I have the latest version of the patch and ive done the PB upgrade recently.
P.S I cant reinstall the game because i have a big split on the DVD

did you rename or fiddle with any BF2 files? I renamed my BF2.exe file once and had that problem... I've disabled the intro movies too, no issue there.

Update punkbuster again by following these steps:

Install it, update PB for BF2... Then see what happens. It could be the server's fault, or PBs fault if it happened to your clan leader too.

Well, since most BF2 problems are solved by re-installing...I think you're going to have to get your hands on a replacement copy at some point.

Contact EA to have your DVD replaced.

just change it back to bf2.exe no need to replace your DVD.
