All mines can now be picked up by the same class ...

How is it going to work? I mean, will we be able to pick only our own mines, our team's mines, or even enemy mines?

    Thx

I'm guessing friendly mine and only if you used up all yours. I don't want my enemy picking up freebies :) It's hard enough to get kills with this kit.

I suspect you'll be restricted to picking up only ---YOUR OWN--- mines.

Which makes sense because, could an assault use a claymore? Sniper use AT mine? Regardless of team, even if it was an engineer collecting AT mines.. besides, engy can disarm ATmine and claymore anyway, so why need to pick it up?

It'll work exactly as it works for engineers at the moment.
An engineer can pick up both his mines, his teammates mines and the enemy mines.

So I'm guessing that it'll be the same thing for snipers/sepc-ops.

i suspect tht it will be ALL mines and tht the engineer will now also take on a "sapper" role... good change as this is how the class shoulda been from day 1.

I reckon the Engineer should have more demolitions on him- even the C4 that the Spec Ops have. After all, engineers should know demolitions too.

Sapper role would require the collection of c4.. and nothing can deal with that crap (in reality, pull the wire from that goo and its a-ok, but in this game my man is too retarded to perform even basic functions like leaning and dying realistically)

and i doubt you'd be able to use these weapons for your own good anyhoo. you know that magic spanner engineers get? yea, it disarms claymores.. what good is the sniper kit without those saucers of doom?

Conclusion: to keep the flow of the game as originally intended, snipers collect and reuse claymores, engy takes AT mines, and specco takes other mans c4 ( well, hopefully.. if all it takes to disarm some c4 is throw a pack on the ground, walk over to the enemies c4, and press g, then im sold)

Either that or give the engineer a pair of scissors or something, currently C4 is both invulnerable, and unre-usable.

But what if the SpecOps have duct-tape to fix the 'clipped' C4's?

i find it really funny EA had to program a button for this. lol..

You could always use the wrench to pick up your own mines.... Now the noobs can use 'g' lol.

but they will probably complain as 'g' is a long way from the arrow keys!
