BF2 shuts down computer after match?

Well, the body of this topic is much like the title: Whenever I finish a match of BF2, my computer shuts itself down. This is a recent problem, I've had BF2 installed for a few months now with no problems of this sort. Problems, yes, but never my entire computer just powering down. This happens every single time I boot the game up, too; it's not a random phenomena. Whenever the round ends, win or lose, and it goes into the 'best squad, etc.' sections ... bam, computer dead.

Any ideas of what might cause this, and possible solutions?

Wild guess, but check your power settings, maybe it's setup to go to sleep or shutdown when you don't use your mouse for 1 minute.

Heat problems?

I would un-install the game, update my vid drivers, defrag, and re-install.

See if it goes away. *shrugs*

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess reinstalling is probably the best solution ... but damn does that take a while. :p

ps: Power settings all normal, no heat issues, computer does not shut itself down for *any* other reason or because of any other program ... stupid BF2! Curse it for being fun enough that even though I can't get more than 10 FPS in battle, and the game completely shuts itself down when a round finishes, I'm STILL willing to keep putting up with its crap. :laugh:
