    How do you adjust sensitivity, yaw and pitch factor on a joystick in game.

    I see the settings for the mouse, sensitivity, yaw and pitch factor, but what about for the joystick.

    Using MS Sidewinder Pre Pro.

    Saw some old threads about copying and pasting to get it to work, but mine does work.
    Everything works fine, all the buttons, sliders, roll, etc...

    Just would like to adjust the sensitivity, yaw and pitch factors.

    Have you installed the Sidewinder software?

    If so, then you should have a 'settings' tab in the Game Controllers applet (via Windows Control Panel). You can adjust sensitivities there by changing 'range of motion'.

    That is the only way I know of to change joystick settings for BF2. The in-game settings affect mouse input only.

    If you have an old gameport joystick and the above suggestion does not work, you can try one of these generic DX tweakers:

      The latest software available from MS doesn't support those functions in WinXp.

      Guess I'll try the default settings or one of those 3rd party programs.

        So it's an older gameport style joystick?

          It has a regular gameport plug, but it comes with a usb adapter.

          It works fine, just can't use the software it came with for adjustments.
