Well, they would REALLY have to make the ranks lower if they ever expected somebody to get 5-star general in a year (and actually have time to show it off :laugh: ).
Are they for sure adding new ranks to the new patch?
They should make it like 2nd Lieutenant at 80,000
1st Lieutenant at 100,000
Captin 130,000
and so on, they should make it like 30,000 between each rank.
I think it would be much better like that.
If not that they should at least lower the 2nd lieutenant score(200,000) thats way to crazy, I mena at least make it like 100,000 or something like that.
I love the fact they added more ranks , now I am sergeant major, but between sergeant major and the next rank there is a major gap of a freaking 150.000 points , wich must be filled with ranks

Haha...ok, fine. Make it a lot lower. Do they expect you to go for General for like 4 years? 2 years? Then what? The only thing I can think of is "buy BF3".
Even so, BF3 shouldn't necessarily cannibalize BF2. EA could milk this by keeping it alive. Or, leave the old stat servers and add new ones. We could have the "morally suspect" stats (pre 1.2) and the new stats (until someone figures out a flaw there and we rinse and repeat).
