Planet Battlefield: Will there be more ranks introduced? If so, can you please list a few.

Tom Galt: There are 10 new ranks being added, from Second Lieutenant all the way up the chain to General. However, these are being added in the next patch, not in the Booster Pack. So these new ranks will be available for free to all owners of BF2.

Good to see more ranks being added. It'll give the guys at the top of the ladder something to play for. As for players like myself, unless EA/DICE makes an adjustment for the rank per points, +200k seems like a dream. BF3 will be out before we get there. :laugh:

Well, right now 2Lt is at 200k. So you can pretty much gather the rest.

Hopefully they will adjust the ranks. Make 5-star general 1 million points and work down from there IMO.

Well, maybe that's even too much. If Blazin.uk kept up his current play time it will take him another 1.5 years to get 1 million. Maybe 500,000 for 5-star is more reasonable.

id wish they lower em im never goin play to 2nd lt and im sure they would lower te 2nd lt reqs dow n to AT LEAST 75000- 80000- points but other ranks will be higher

did u ppl even read i wrote in bf2s forums??

but im ABSOLUTY sure they make 2nd lt reqs down a bit

screw ranks..they should add more badges, ribbons and medals. I wouldn't mind seeing a defibrillator ribbon. Such a small percentage of people will reach those high ranks anyways.
