Re: Red circle with a slash means NO!
He means don't spwan camp uncapturable flags. Especially in choppers. Personally I don't have a problem with spawn camping because people can always spawn somwhere else and if they can't then where else would people expect the oponent to be attacking.Comment

Re: Red circle with a slash means NO!
I have to agree here. I play Ghost Town all the time, and I know what the OP means. Once they have you in that position, you're basically cooked.Originally posted by SQUiB_2154Then you have been beaten and stop trying to spawn if you don't wan't to die. If there is a long time left in the game it would be good if they let you out again so that the battle could resume but the don't have to.
However, the other team managed to do this, I don't see any reason why they should stop; the best thing is simply not to spawn any more, and wait for a new game.Comment

Agreed. I usually go by the standard of if you can do it in the game (e.g. Dice programmed it to be able to do that.) YOU ARE ALLOWED TO!Originally posted by Auto-ER-If your whole team can't defend even one flag outside the uncap, that's the punishment. Maybe the asraping will motivate some teamwork next time.
Its when hackers start cheating is when I have a problem. Spawn Camp, Bunny Hop, Dolphin Dive, Nube Tub, DO whatever you want I do not care as long as you are not cheating. Its war and its not always fair! You just need to step up your game and counter these manouvers and then you will feel all the more gratifide for stopping them. Personally I usually play with a few friends and if someone is doing something I do not like I hunt them like and animal with my friends. Then they get sick of it and leave..probelm solved!
And if someone is camping your UCB then you stink! Work harder next time or go to a new server with a better team!Comment

Re: Red circle with a slash means NO!
the thing that bothers me about it is the maps dont give you an "out" to get away from someone vehicle camping. i think the map designers should keep that in mind when they make flags have only 3-4 real spawn points (the places where players appear)
im a dev for battlefield pirates & a big part in our map design process was to figure out how to allow people to just play & camp with whatever they wanted, but still allow the camped team a chance to fight back... usually this was solved by making 7-8 player spawns so that when ppl spawned in, they wouldnt bell so grouped together for a big multikill nade
in my eyes, as long as you can walk there, it should be allowed, but its up to the devs to figure out how to make it work without ruining the roundComment

what would happen if there were 7 or 8 spawn points? There would be more people in the base, covering every spawn point.Originally posted by SupaFly_the thing that bothers me about it is the maps dont give you an "out" to get away from someone vehicle camping. i think the map designers should keep that in mind when they make flags have only 3-4 real spawn points (the places where players appear)

When it's you're down to your last base and it's un-cappable it isn't baseraping. What are the other team going to do? Just sit there for 5 mins whilst you attack them? They want to attack you.Originally posted by SigEp4lifeeh it weas one of those days on ghost city the team had all the points captured but felt compleede to hover a hind right behind our base and one on the other side of the bridge
