The L96A1 isn't = AWP (CS version)

First of, the CS version of AWP is mislabled and is actually the Artic Warfare Super Magnum, not the real life Artic Warfare Police.

The AW SM can be chambered with the .338 Lapua Magnum, .300 Winchester Magnum and 7mm Remington Magnum in real life, and the CS version uses the .338 in CS right (I don't play CS)?

So the AWP in real life uses the 7.62x51mm. So this isn't the CS AWP, but just plain vanilla L96A1. I fired this rifle in Kosovo, it is real nice.

The L96A1 would be more equal to M24 in BF2 and behave more like it, and not like the CS AWP (again wrong real life name), which uses more powerfull rounds.

Nice, i like it, is that the PSG-1 or teh MSG-90 (they're VERY similar, it's just that the PSG-1 is more well known, and the MSG-90 is the military export version of the PSG-1).

But then again, ONE of teh L96A1 varients can fire the .338 Lapua round that's in CS. So it is ALMOST the same rifle as the AWP in CS, but it fires a different, smaller, less powerful round, so ya, my guess is it'll be just like the M24.

Just for anyone who is confused about this. The the L96A1 isn't the rifle from the 1.2 patch it is from the upcoming european booster pack.

Dude you're looking at the AWP here.. it HAS to be 1s1k.. otherwise people will boycott it for being unrealistic.

If that was true they would have boycotted the M95 brianiac. The .308 does not dole out as mush damage as a .50 HMG round.

Yes, ok, CS is a very different game. This rifle will not be a one hit kill, that is almost certain, I would nearly bet my life on that (the community would be outside DICE headquaters with pitchforks)

I would hope there is some differences between this rifle and the others. A better scope, with a secondary zoom would be amazing. Doubtful though.

I just want an accurat, yet 2 kill-gun (at the chest) sniper to wield something different than the m24 once in a while. Adjustable scopes would be neat, maybe you should be able to choose your magnification on the scopes when you pick your weapon. phew...I'm rambling now.

To everyones information: 1) CS:S has messed up all weapon statistics and CS:S is totally gay. 2) The L96A1, Artic Warfare Magnum, is a great rifle, but most important, it's a European rifle. So, they won't add any ****ing MEC/China like sniper rifles, is that hard to understand? Also, if you judge a rifle only by its performance in a crappy game like CS(:S), then you are a total idiot. :)
