Obviously y'all missed the part about an entirely new Euro Army.

Even if it was just 3 maps, that's roughly $3.33 per map - not bad if you ask me. I probably lose that much change in a week.

You are not going to be stuck playing those 3 maps only. From the way I understand it - these are BOOSTER packs to vBF2 - in other words they add on to it. Not like SF which requires a whole different start up and server - these should merely be add ins to vBF2. So all the servers out there that have vBF2 if they want to upgrade, and add in the new maps to the roatation they should.

Then if you are on one of those servers, and do not have the pack, you just will be dumped back to the menu.

I've seen the advertisiing picture that pops up on the BF2 front end when you load it up.

It looks like the euro army is going to be British Army.

About time we had a decent army in the game, and who better than the British Army - aka the Best Army in The World

Well, I disagree with the topic starter. For anyone that is working, or most kids, $10, or £5.99, is very affordable. Yes other companies give away free content, but that is their own choice to do so. It is not compulsory.

This seems like it'll be tough. If the expansions are stand alone, no one will want to play (or buyfor that matter) a server that can only run 3 maps at a time. If the expansions are for vBF2, people without them will be disconnected when those maps are up. Both situations kinda blow. Either way, I'm sure I'll end up buying both.
