when ever i try to make an account so i can play on line it sais an account name allready exists for that email adress/password i have tried many random passwords and a few different email adresses but i always get this problem can some 1 help plz

The email address you use doesn't have to be real (but never forget the password ok)? :)
I've never heard of this problem where nothing is accepted though. I'll see if I can dig something up though. -

The login is handled by gamespy so if you have played other games, such as Command and Conquer General, or Renegade, or a Need For Speed, etc, then you created a gamespy account using that email. You can always do a retrieve account with the email address, and see which account it will hook it up to.Comment

When a friend of mine was having trouble with this, he couldn't use an account name that even CONTAINED his previous account name.
So try and make the account names as different as possible, and be sure to use a completely different e-mail address and password.
The GameSpyID system is a complete joke IMHO.Comment

Gamespy is the worst game finder on the market which why I'm not sure why EA insists on using it. I believe EA bought GameSpy a while back. EA seems to think that if something looks cool people will like it. Personally I'd rather have a ****ty car that works well, then a nice one that never works.Originally posted by TalusComment
