Seriously though, I've spent many hours in black helicopters. They're very real. Nothing sinister (well, not too much anyway ) about them.
    Seinfeld is AMAZING.

My point was more based on the fact that no one keeps track of what people say...you speak about things and oh your crazy then 5 years later the stuff you were saying the government was doing that you were called a nut for is public and no one seems to remember and say oh you were right!

I know they are real I have seen footage of when delta force terrorized many cities in texas while back in black helicopters.

Damn...I learned a lot about helicopters in this thread. Good stuff guys. Keep educating us.

I couldn't spot a Blackhawk helo in BF2 to save my life. They all look the same to me. All I know is "hostile slick inbound" means I am going to die soon.

        hehe...

The only Black Hawk helicopter varient with the Desert camo I know is the Pave Hawk owned by the USAF. Never seen an Army helicopter with a Desert Camo.

Oh yeah, the US Navy and Coast Guard designation is the SH-60 Sea Hawk, not Black Hawk, and there are some pretty sizeable differences between it and the Army counterpart.
                  Okay.

First off, I spent the better part of my 20 years in the Army, in Special Ops Aviation. I've flown some in Little Birds (both slicks and guns) and UH-60K&L DAPs (<<the people crying chopper whore would crap themselves over this one), but most of my flight time was in the back of a MH-47E "Darkhorse" Chinook. I was the S-4 (Logistics) NCOIC for 2-160th SOAR(A) from 1990 to 1997.

Of course I know the difference between a Blackhawk and a Seahawk...and a Pavehawk for that matter too. I've worked closely with units that used all of them.

FYI....The primary helo that currently serves as Marine One is VH-60N Whitehawk., and this is NOT the only UH-60 variant that the Corps flies either. I know this to be a FACT. Just because you may not have heard or read about them, doesn't mean they haven't/aren't being used.

                  My bubble is fully intact!

Dunno about the mod thing, but as a former USN avionics tech, I can say for sure that the helos are not Sea Hawks either.

One big difference is that the ones in-game have a fixed tail wheel and the SH-60 has a rotating one.
