Untakable flag? Or just bad bug?

I was playing with my team. And we were going to take this flag. We had 4 US soldiers around flag. But we didnt get this flag. So i called more members from my clan ESF. We had over 6 US soldiers around this flag. But still same thing. Flag itself showed that this is US flag but on map, 3D map and capture time showed that its MEC flag. We tried everything but still no flag capture. :S We spend a lot of time under this flag. And it was thatway in a next round too. So we decided to leave that flag as it was. And image to show that. :P

usually happens when someone from the other team manages to find a good spot to hide inside the cap radius (it should at elast grey out tho)

Happens to me too sometimes. It's NOT because there is someone nearby in this case, I was commander and used UAV.

Note that for some reason you cannot capture that particular flag from the roof or ladder of the building.

I've had this same bug, no ladders or roofs involved, on USMC at the Power Plant in Mashtuur, we had four or five guys on it, no enemy hiding, but they kept spawning on it and after probably a three or four minute fight got it back, even though the US flag was ALL the way up, it wouldn't register as US, but instead held as a MEC spawn.

I have had this happen to me a few times as well. It seems to be a bug and not someone in a good hiding spot.

What I have done is pull out of the capture radius and then go back in and it will turn right away. Make sure all the guys pull out though, I did this when I was by myself trying to cap the construction flag on Oman and it worked.

What map was you on? In the Dam map(forgot name) there is a tunnel underneath a flag. I found it by accident. I stayed there with a tank and captured a flag. I lost it shortly, because the enemy probally had more solider to retain it. Once they left, I had it again and never left the tank or was seen by the enemy. This is a great trick also. Hope you all enjoy making the enemy mad on this one.

That was already known.

A good cap bug is on Sharqi Peninsula. It's unique and you can cap a flag even when you're dead.

I'll post more details later on.
