crashes at login screen

hi there

When I try to login on my account on BF2 it freezes when loading up the login screen and all I can do is restart my computer. My housemate's account, however, logs in fine with no problems.

anyone know the reason for this?

Try retrieving your account. I had that happen once and this worked for me.

yeah bf2 crashing out on login is normal if you can't connect for whatever reason.

Its pretty appalling that it actually makes bf2 crash but there you go.

was wondering what the reason was though, but thanks for trying to help :) I can play online fine with my housemates account, but mine just crashes it. I realise that this should be in support, and I have posted it there after i did here. you can lock this if you wish
